1. What is the warranty coverage on all Blue Air products?

Bottom-Mount Solid Door Units, Sandwich Prep Tables, and Under Counter Units come with a 18 months parts & labor, 5 years on compressor.  Top-Mount Solid door Units, Glass Door Units and Chest Freezers come with a 1 year parts & labor, 5 years on compressor.  Sushi Cases and Bull Safes come with a 90 day parts warranty.  Warranties are valid only in the USA. 1



2. How often should I clean the condenser on my Blue Air product?

You must clean the condenser every 3-4 months.  This is your responsibility and part of basic maintenance.  Unit failure due to lack of maintenance is not covered in the warranty. (Please refer to Warranty Claims Policy and Sales Terms & Conditions).



3. How do I clean the condenser?

First you must remove the grill located at the bottom(or Top) of the unit (Screws).  Simply brush any dust or lint away lightly or use a vacuum cleaner.  Then replace the grill. DO NOT USE WATER.



4. How can I clean my cutting board for my Prep Table?

Use hot water and bleach to whiten and disinfect.  



5. What are the sizes of the casters on my unit?

They are 4~6 inches.  The front two casters have brakes and the rear casters do not.



6. The sliding doors on my glass unit are not completely closing.  Why?

Always make sure that your unit is level first.  Then try cleaning out the tracking in the doors to remove any debris.



7. The doors on my stainless Reach-In unit are uneven.  Do I need a service call?

Always check to see if the unit is located on a level surface first.



8. The light in my unit isn’t working.  Is it covered under the warranty?

The light is covered under the warranty for the first 30 days only.  After the first 30 days, the light is the customers’ responsibility.  If you need a replacement within the first 30 days from the date of purchase then you must provide a copy of your invoice.   Also we like to suggest that you can also purchase lights from just about any hardware store to avoid any wait time or postage fees.



9. Why is my unit not completely cooling in my kitchen?

The surrounding area should not exceed 80? degrees.  The compressor with have more of a difficult time to cool the unit. Also do not place the unit too close to a warm appliance.  



10. My unit just all of a sudden stopped working. What do I do?

Before you make a service call first check to see if the power switch is on and the unit is plugged in.  Also check to see if the breaker is on.  Always remember to NEVER use extension cords!



11. Where are the model and the serial numbers located in my unit?

They are located in the upper front left side corner.



12. How much money will I spend on electricity per year with this unit?

Find out how many watts are used for your unit and call your local electric company.  They should be able to calculate the approximate amount that you will spend for that year.



13. How many watts does my unit use?

Multiply the total amount of amperage by the total amount of voltage.  (Refer to the specifications under “Products” on the Blue Air web page).



14. I received my product damaged.  What should I do?

Refer to the Sales Terms & Conditions.  Please do not send the product back to us until we give you permission to do so!



15. How do I register my Blue Air product for warranty coverage?

You can either complete the warranty card that is issued with the unit and return it within 12 (twelve) days from the date of installation or you can register at this website under “Warranty”.



16. What do I do if I lost my keys to the unit?

All you have to do is call us at our toll free number 1-866-677-8500.  Also we would like to recommend that you make an extra set as soon as you receive your unit.



17. Who do I call if I need service on my Blue Air product?

You can either call us at our toll free number (1-866-677- 8500) or you can call the location of which your unit was purchased.



18. Which units are ETL and NSF certified?

All Stainless Solid Reach-ins, Glass Door Units, Sushi Cases, Equipment Stands, Wall Shelves, Sinks, and Work Tables are NSF certified.  All Chest Freezers, Sandwich Prep Tables, and Under Counter Units are ETL certified.



19. Are all of the Bull Safes “fire proof”?

All of the steel material that is used to make the Bull Safes is “fire proof”.  The only models that are completely “fire proof” are the BSF20E and the BSF30E.  Also the bottom compartments of the BSD2EE, BS3D22, BS-ER02, and the BSS2EE are considered completely “fire safe”.  Please understand that you cannot have a “fire proof” safe if there are slots, depositories, or any openings that can allow oxygen to enter the safe.
